Who Does MPS Help?

We love helping parents going through the postpartum stage who are finding the transition challenging. We are confident in supporting parents facing additional difficulties due to:

  • Breastfeeding struggles

  • Traumatic /complex birth

  • Particularly unsettled infant (might present with colic or silent reflux symptoms or ‘Purple Crying’ )

  • Parents with suspected PMADs or symptoms of distress

  • People with pre-existing mental health struggles, neurodiversity, and history of trauma ( some NDIS participants could engage our services though their packages)

  • Parents managing multiple infants

  • People with minimal support networks/ family,

What Does MPS Offer?

  • In-home professional birth debriefing,

  • Mental Health support and Counselling, both during pregnancy and postpartum

  • Neuroprotective Developmental Care* Consulting ( which covers cry/fuss, sleep & settling, and breastfeeding support)

  • Parent-education and coaching,

  • Hands on assistance & support ( including cooking and newborn care)

    We also regularly run online and group workshops.

    We desire to soon offer Medicare rebates for non-directive pregnancy related counselling.

How To Refer?

Two Options:

1 - Give us a call on: 0422 482 799 during/after an appointment with your client and let us know their name, your name, a short reason for referring, confirm you have their consent to contact us, and their best contact number.

Our team will consult with you about the client’s location/postcode, presenting issues and struggles, availability, budget or concession requirements.

We will be prompt in getting back to them if we are unable to answer the phone at the time of call and you leave a message
