Are you a new parent
or expecting a baby soon?
Congratulations on this exciting journey! Welcoming a newborn into your life is a remarkable experience, but it can also be filled with questions, uncertainties, and many people encounter myths about infants and the best ways to care for them.
Hi, it's Mel and Rach here from Melbourne Postpartum Services. We know many parents in our local community are being inundated by conflicting and unhelpful advice and, as a result, are feeling confused or loosing their confidence in their parenting abilities.
However IT’S NOT THEIR FAULT!
It’s incredibly hard to navigate this minefield when it seems that even the professionals around a family can’t even agree on what ‘best’ is. Which is why we want to empower parents with the tools and resources to CHOOSE FOR THEMSELVES the path that they want to follow. But this is hard to do without first helping people learn to identify unhelpful and outdated information and letting parents know where they can find evidence based resources that align with their values.
Therefore, we are proud to Introduce a safe place where parents can come to start this journey :
"Knowing Newborns: Learn the Essentials"
A transformative workshop designed to empower you with evidence-based knowledge and practical skills to navigate the early stages of parenting.
Join us on the 16th of July 2023 at the Mindful AF Studio in Emerald for an informative and engaging session that will set you on the path to confidently care for your newborn.
